This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Visited Momo House during lunch. It wasn’t busy, and the service was nice. I tried the steamed momos and spring rolls both were good and flavorful. A nice place to enjoy momos!

I come here often and the employees are very nice! The dumplings, quesadilla and butter chicken are my recommendations. Honestly, I don't love the drinks because there is a lot of tough competition in the area. The price for what you get is really good and it feels like I have a $5 every other time I come! Definitely recommend if you can find a spot to park.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finding authentic Nepali food on our way to the Raleigh Rose Garden led us to this absolute gem. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they serve an extensive selection of boba teas and specialty drinks. The owner actually told us he started the business with the drinks first and recently introduced the food. We had already grabbed boba elsewhere before arriving so we skipped the drinks this time, but the food was so spectacular that we didn't even mind missing out on the beverages. The restaurant is spotless inside and out, including a very clean restroom with a diaper changing station. The highlight was the owner and staff. They were incredibly patient and helpful with our two toddlers, even when things got loud or the salt shakers dropped. The owner chatted with us about life in Nepal and the US like an old friend, and he even offered to help us with parking on our next visit. The food was incredible. We ordered the jhol momo and the chicken and egg fried rice, which came in a surprisingly generous portion size. We asked for no spice, and the base food itself wasn't spicy at all, so the kids absolutely loved it. They even treated us to a refreshing complimentary man

They have delicious food, especially the chicken, it was my favorite! I didn’t really like the milk tea I ordered, but I think I’ll try a different flavor next time. The fried rice was also very good. They offer free parking for up to 2 hours. At first, the parking validation didn’t work even after I tried several times, but the owner kindly helped me get the free parking. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back

I stopped by Momo House for a quick snack and was thoroughly impressed. I tried the samosas and the mango lassi, and both were fantastic. My wife and I shared the orange chicken platter. The samosas were clearly fresh-madeβ€”crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and delicious on the inside. To wash it down, the mango lassi was superb; it had the perfect consistency and a rich, vibrant flavor. Beyond the food, the service added a personal touch to the visit. It was a pleasure meeting Madhab while I was there. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a casual modern welcoming atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
